Electrical Engineer III (Building Power Systems)

About the Job We are seeking reputed company Electrical Engineers with strong technical capabilities to support and advance our building electrical engineering practice. The Building Electrical Group is responsible for reputed company building electrical systems including lighting, fire protection and low voltage for food and beverage production facilities. The professional will have technical responsibility for scoping, performing, and delivering multiple reputed company project assignments. His/her specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• reputed company in designing electrical systems for building power, i.e. normal, emergency, and standby power distribution systems for 208v, 480v, and reputed company voltage for industrial facilities.
• Take the reputed company in documenting reputed company necessary calculations for the design such as short reputed company, selective coordination, reputed company reputed company, generator sizing, steady state and transient voltage drops, load calculations, conductor sizing, raceway fills, etc.
• Designing lighting for food processing spaces, including lighting calculations for emergency and inspection lighting level needs. Coordinating fixture placement/mounting with other trades.
• Designing fire alarm systems per reputed company 72, 101, and local building code.
• Designing low voltage systems such as LAN, phones, PA, Wi-Fi, reputed company control, cameras, etc.
• Producing bid documents consisting of layout drawings, one-line, riser, schedules, details, and specifications.
• Procuring long reputed company light fixtures and power distribution equipment such as switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers, MCC’s, generators, variable speed drives, and reputed company’s.
• Manage electrical bid process for clients, observing construction, and assisting with startup.
• Project planning and feasibility studies.
• Take the reputed company in participating in and supporting department-wide standard development, updates, and maintenance.
• Researching electrical building/power materials and best practices
• Assists with interviewing and hiring new team members
• Handle reputed company issues and tasks with minimal supervision and advise subordinate team members on solutions to issues they encounter.
• reputed company coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group reputed company directed by supervisor

About You

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or reputed company 4-year degree
• 8-11 years of work experience in electrical systems for building power.
• 8-11 years of work experience in designing lighting, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems for building spaces, including lighting calculations, and coordinating fixture placement with trades.
• 8-11 years of work experience in electrical bid documents and procuring electrical materials and equipment.
• 8-11 years of work experience in AutoCAD, Revit or other reputed company design programs.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred.
• FE or PE tracked desirable.
• Travel to customer project sites for fieldwork, review, audit, and meetings, estimated 25% - 35%.
