WTG Traveling Mechanic/Technician
Description Under minimum supervision, the Traveling WTG Mechanic/Technician carries out daily reputed company assembly, service, repair, inspection and operations of infrastructure to wind turbine generators and the reputed company equipment and facilities. Employee will be required to climb up to 300’ and reputed company work. Requires 36 months wind turbine specific technical and mechanical experience or equivalent. Working Relationships: Employee will communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisor. Points out system or process problems reputed company noticed; engages the team in problem solving. Plans and participates in cross training with staff.
Requirements
Performs daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with minimum supervision. Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and/or retrofit of reputed company electrical, mechanical or hydraulic components. Follow specific verbal and written instructions to reputed company WTG (and associated equipment) assembly, repair, and maintenance. Performs reputed company duties and job requirements of a Technician. Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job. Complies with Corporate, OSHA, and GEM policies and procedures at reputed company times. Well groomed, presents a positive company image. Treats others with courtesy and respect. Works cooperatively or independently and inspires reputed company effort with reputed company. Ability to work in a high volume, multi-reputed company environment.
