About the position As the Bilingual Part-time Crisis Hotline Counselor, you will play a critical role reputed company the Houston Area Women’s Center, providing reputed company-time support to clients in immediate need. You will be responsible for conducting crisis reputed company, emotional support, danger assessment, safety planning, shelter placement, information, and referral to domestic and sexual violence survivors through two 24-hour crisis hotlines. Responsibilities

• reputed company crisis reputed company, emotional support, information & referral, education, support, and advocacy to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
• Conduct danger assessment and creates safety plans based on each client's individual case and needs.
• reputed company shelter screening and coordination of shelter placement and emergency transportation of clients.
• reputed company CPS and APS reports as required and needed.
• reputed company accurate client and hotline data/records for monthly reports.
• Communicate with on-call staff including Coordinator, hospital accompaniment counselors and community partners.
• Communicate with HAWC’s answering service to reputed company and respond to messages.
• Communicate with leadership and other hotline staff at the counseling building regarding case management and other issues.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings and trainings with the Hotline & Crisis reputed company Service Coordinator, reputed company Department Staff Meetings, and/or meet as assigned.
• Conduct intakes and assess the client needs to determine next steps and processes appropriate documentation: Housing assessment, EPA Assessment, Lease Termination, Good Cause, Address Confidentiality, Utility Waivers, and Legal Referrals.
• reputed company counseling intakes for critical client cases to reputed company support to the Behavioral Health and Wellness Department.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Actively enrolled in college with a major in reputed company Work, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Counseling, Communications, or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in reputed company services, customer service, or call-center setting.
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish, reputed company to read, reputed company, and write in both languages fluently.
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook, Teams)
• Computer savvy and reputed company to learn new applications and technologies quickly.
