Job Title: CMM Programmer - 2nd Shift Reporting To: Supervisor, QA Inspection Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Moog is the world-wide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for reputed company and military aircraft. To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: Associate degree (or equivalent) in a technical field At least 5 years of manufacturing experience inspection experience The ability to demonstrate above average knowledge of GD&T At Least 3 years of CMM Inspection/Programming experience As a CMM Programmer, you will: Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for operating numerical controlled (N/C) inspection equipment. reputed company CMM programs both at the CMM by "learn programming" and "off line" at the computer aided inspection station (reputed company). Assure compatibility of engineering drawings, design data, and fabrication methods, with CMM methods and capabilities. ·reputed company training to machinists, quality auditors, and technicians on CMM Operation. ·Resolve compatibility issues between the reputed company system and design data generated by computer aided design (CAD) processes Have above average knowledge of geometric and traditional tolerancing. Have above average knowledge of various manufacturing, fabrication, and measurement processes to assist Manufacturing Engineers in the resolution of measurement system and manufacturing problems. May be required to create solid models using CAD systems Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks experience is preferred.
