We have an immediate need for a dependable and reputed company individual to join our medical team as a Medical Assistant in New Albany, OH, with some travel to our Pickerington clinic. This role involves providing both administrative assistance and clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination, escort them to the treatment room and be present during examination/treatment to assist the physician in treatment procedures.
- Measure, collect, and accurately document patient vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight.
- Interview patients to obtain medical histories and relevant information, and document or input data into the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collects reputed company medical data to help the physician's ability to draw conclusions about the patient's needs.
- Ensure reputed company charts and forms for the office visit are reputed company for the provider.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Cleans rooms after procedures, cleans and disinfects equipment, restocks supplies.
- Monitor patients’ recovery process, inform the provider of observations, and recommend changes in unresponsive treatment techniques.
- Maintain communication with patients after treatment to monitor their reputed company and suggest reputed company treatment in the event of a relapse.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing workflows and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist in keeping ASC orderly and follows appropriate cleaning protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Recent Medical Assistant experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency, including keyboarding, reputed company Office, and eClinicalWorks or similar Electronic Medical Record platform.
- Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task reputed company and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
