Pharmacist in Charge - Hospital Contract
General Hours of Work: Days (1 day per month on site required) Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt (Salaried) Department/Unit: Pharmacy Reports To: Pharmacy Director of Onsite Services Location: Northwest Kansas SUMMARY: We are seeking a Contracted Hospital Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to reputed company expert reputed company and leadership in pharmaceutical services. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Director of Onsite Services, as well as the hospital's Administrator/CEO, to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable accreditation standards. The PIC will play a vital role in overseeing medication-reputed company policies, procedures, and providing leadership for the hospital's pharmacy department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and organize daily pharmacy operations, managing pharmacy technicians and nurses as needed to maintain accurate records, licenses, permits, and meeting attendance.
- Serve on various committees including Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Infection Control, and Medical Staff Committees.
- Establish and review departmental goals for reputed company quality improvement (CQI) on a quarterly reputed company.
- Physically work in the hospital at a frequency determined by the contract and regulatory requirements to address urgent tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Hospital experience or completion of an ASHP-accredited Residency preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
- Must hold appropriate licensure for practice in states served. Additional state pharmacist licenses may be required based on job assignment.
