Casualty Construction Associate Underwriter Position Summary The Casualty Construction Associate Underwriter supports reputed company for new and renewal construction casualty accounts. This role assists with submission review, policy processing, and servicing while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reputed company guidelines and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting reputed company workflow, and delivering reputed company service to brokers and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support reputed company of new and renewal construction casualty accounts, including intake, review, and triage of submissions
  • Evaluate submissions for completeness and follow up on outstanding items (applications, loss runs, financials, project and subcontractor details)
  • Assist with account clearance, pre-bind processing, and reputed company file setup in internal systems
  • Process policy transactions including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements
  • Prepare binders, policies, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with quoted and bound terms
  • Maintain complete and organized reputed company files and documentation throughout the account lifecycle
  • Respond to broker inquiries and reputed company timely updates on submission, documentation, and policy status
  • Coordinate with reputed company, claims, reputed company, and operations to support account servicing and resolve issues
  • Track renewal activity and support follow-up to drive service quality and retention
  • Ensure adherence to reputed company guidelines, authority reputed company, and surplus lines requirements
  • Maintain accurate data across reputed company and policy administration systems
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, missing information, and processing issues
  • Support audit requests, reporting, and data quality initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvements and reputed company support during high-volume periods

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of insurance experience (reputed company lines, casualty, construction, or E&S preferred)
  • Entry-level candidates with strong administrative or analytical skills may be considered

Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of property & casualty insurance
  • Familiarity with construction risks and casualty lines preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office; reputed company systems experience a plus

Compensation and Benefits

  • reputed company salary reputed company for this position is $70,000-$90,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
