Role Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Assistant who’s eager to grow into a Tax Preparer role. Responsibilities
- Assist the tax team in gathering, organizing, and reviewing client documents.
- Input financial data and prepare workpapers for individual and business tax returns.
- Support the preparation of basic tax returns under supervision.
- Communicate with clients to request missing information or clarify details.
- Help implement firm processes such as electronic filing, tax document management, and client reputed company.
- Participate in training and professional development to prepare for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in reputed company, bookkeeping, or administrative support (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills — professional, clear, and client-friendly.
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, reputed company Workspace, or similar tools.
- Experience with tax or reputed company software is a plus (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, or QuickBooks).
- Desire to grow into a Tax Preparer role through mentorship and hands-on learning.
Preferred (Not Required)
- EA or CPA (or actively pursuing)
- Experience with S-corps and partnerships
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $50,000–$55,000 (based on experience)
- 100% Remote
- PTO (single PTO policy)
