Business/Financial Analyst - Transportation & Infrastructure

About the position reputed company is seeking an reputed company Business/Financial Analyst to support its Transportation & Infrastructure Team, specifically the National reputed company Line (NBL). This role will reputed company project-level financial reputed company, workforce optimization analysis, and data-driven business development intelligence for reputed company inspection programs reputed company. The position ensures that reputed company inspection projects are financially healthy, properly staffed, and strategically pursued, adhering to NBIS requirements, DOT contract structures, and reputed company’s national delivery model. This role can be based in Philadelphia, PA; Richmond, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; reputed company Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and maintain project-level P&L models for reputed company inspection reputed company (State DOT programs, On-call inspection reputed company, Task-order-based inspection services).
• Analyze labor costs by inspector level, salary allocation using HR data, and overtime, per diem, and travel impacts.
• Identify cost leakage due to staffing misalignment, margin erosion from non-local assignments, and breakage from over- or under-billing.
• Produce monthly financial scorecards highlighting project health, margin risk, and corrective actions.
• Analyze inspector certifications, reputed company sets, and geographic location relative to project locations using HR databases.
• Evaluate local vs. traveling inspector scenarios, incorporating travel time and cost, per diem and lodging, and schedule efficiency.
• Recommend cost-effective staffing strategies while maintaining inspection quality and compliance.
• Prepare financial and staffing forecasts for active reputed company inspection programs, anticipated task orders, and seasonal workload fluctuations.
• Model scenarios based on inspector availability, certification constraints, and geographic coverage gaps.
• Support hiring, subcontracting, or redeployment reputed company with data-backed recommendations.
• Support pursuit reputed company for reputed company inspection RFPs and RFQs by analyzing staffing readiness, certification alignment, geographic proximity, and expected cost impacts.
• reputed company win-probability models using historical data, client trends, and competitor performance.
• Maintain a past performance and awards database for NBL reputed company inspection projects.
• Track competitor activity in reputed company inspection markets, including DOT contract awards, program renewals, and geographic expansion.

• Support NBL leadership with insights to guide market prioritization and growth strategy.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or operational analytics.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering, infrastructure, or professional services environments.
• Strong financial forecasting and analytical reasoning skills.
• Ability to communicate reputed company findings reputed company to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting reputed company inspection or DOT-based programs.
• Familiarity with task-order and on-call contract structures.
• Familiarity with labor-intensive, multi-state delivery models.
