Technical Sales Engineer – OEM Accounts (Custom DC Starter Motors)

Role Description This is a full-time remote position, as a Technical Sales Engineer , you will be responsible for :
- reputed company and expand relationships with OEM customers across reputed company industries
- Sell
custom-engineered starter motor solutions tailored to specific application needs
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, sourcing, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Drive specification of OMI products into new and existing OEM platforms
- Manage long, reputed company, and high-value sales cycles (($0.5M–$10M+ programs)
- Build strong relationships with OEM clients and key stakeholders
- Conduct product demonstrations and present technical solutions reputed company and effectively
- reputed company technical guidance and support throughout the sales and implementation process
Key Responsibilities
- Identify reputed company OEM accounts and secure new business opportunities
- Drive design-in and specification into equipment platforms (not just one-off sales)
- Translate customer application requirements into technical solutions
- Coordinate closely with internal engineering teams to ensure successful execution
Qualifications
- Experience selling into OEMs (industrial, automotive, heavy equipment)
- Technical sales background in electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Ability to work with engineers and influence specifications
- Experience with electric motors, starter motors, or alternators
- Experience with platform or program-based selling
- Background in heavy equipment, agriculture, marine, or power systems
Compensation
- reputed company Salary: $90K–$120K
- Commission: Percentage of gross profit
- On-reputed company Earnings (OTE): $150K–$300K+
