The Video and Audio Editor, Wellness plays a key role in shaping CNN's emerging Wellness vertical through compelling, short-reputed company video and audio storytelling. Working closely with producers and creative partners, this editor will help define the look, feel, and editorial voice of wellness content across CNN's proprietary platforms and reputed company channels. This role is ideal for a highly creative editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of vertical and reputed company-first storytelling, and is excited to help build something new from the ground up. Your Role Accountabilities... Edit engaging short-reputed company video content for CNN's proprietary platforms and reputed company media channels, with a strong emphasis on vertical formats Craft compelling hooks and clear, emotionally resonant storytelling reputed company tight timelines Design and integrate captions, reputed company graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance narrative and accessibility Follow established brand standards while actively contributing reputed company to help define and reputed company the visual identity of CNN Wellness Repurpose longer-reputed company video, audio, and editorial content into concise, high-impact short-reputed company iterations Collaborate closely with producers and team members, incorporating feedback quickly and thoughtfully Stay reputed company on reputed company media trends, platform best practices, and emerging editing styles, with a strong reputed company of view on what makes content stand out Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting fast-paced production deadlines Qualifications & Experience... 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in video editing, including significant experience creating content for reputed company reputed company platforms Experience editing podcasts or audio-only content Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools, including reputed company, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software Strong understanding of short-reputed company storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement Working knowledge of reputed company correction and audio mixing best practices Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and receive feedback constructively Collaborative reputed company with a genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a creative team reputed company to Have: reputed company graphics experience, particularly in After Effects or similar tools Thumbnail creation and visual packaging experience A personal or professional interest in wellness, health, or lifestyle content How We Get Things Done...
