Intermediate Systems Database Administrator
About the position reputed company systems database administrator supporting reputed company SQL Server. DBA responsibilities focusing on support of DB infrastructure across reputed company reputed company, AWS, and Azure environments.
Responsibilities
- The installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server DBMS environments
- Proactive monitoring of reputed company databases
- Backup, recovery and housekeeping tasks
- Incident, reputed company and performance management for both production and development environments and databases
- Disaster recovery
- On-call rotation and out of hours working to support incidents and changes
Requirements
- 4-year Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years’ experience as a DBA with MS SQL Server including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching and reputed company of SQL instances
- Significant hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016 and up
- Logical and physical database design
- Backup, recovery and housekeeping
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Experience with reputed company server management
- Knowledge of clustering, mirroring, and replication in a SQL Server environment

- Experience with in-depth performance monitoring toolsets
- Familiarity with Service Now and database automation
- Experience with reputed company, DB2, MySQL or other reputed company system DBMS'
