Follow Up Counselor, Bilingual – Spanish
Job Description:
- reputed company telephone follow-up and assistance in English and Spanish to individuals in crisis.
- Contact callers, emergency department discharges, and suicide attempt survivors, for intake, to assess risk, reputed company referrals for mental health and other reputed company services, and assist in linkage to services.
- Contact mental health service providers to help callers secure services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed call reports.
- Fulfill continuing education requirements as requested or required for the agency and the Suicide Prevention Center Division.
- Attend routinely scheduled meetings as requested or required for the Suicide Prevention Center follow-up Program.
- Monitor and measure client reputed company against safety plan and stated goals as it applies to outpatient mental health documentation.
- Responsible for chart documentation and status reports, ensures client documentation is accurate and submitted reputed company the established timeframe.
Requirements:

- Minimum of six months of relevant behavioral health experience, with one year of experience in crisis reputed company or suicide prevention strongly preferred.
- Possess a high school Diploma or equivalent.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to empathetically engage with any individual regardless of background, and demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence in the process.
