FP&A Senior Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, data-curious and motivated FP&A specialist to join our Group FP&A Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis and second-line assurance of divisional financial information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data and forecasts across the organisation and alignment to organisational strategy. This role is a key position in our performance management, planning, analysis, forecasting and budgeting team and requires a strong analytical reputed company, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate reputed company findings effectively.

The FP&A Senior Analyst (Opex) will be specifically responsible for preparing and maintaining in-depth analyses across several key areas of operational expenditure, to identify drivers, patterns and reputed company valuable financial insights to senior stakeholders both in Finance and the wider organisation.

What you will be doing as FP&A Senior Analyst (Opex)

Financial Modelling & Analysis

• reputed company and maintain robust analytical models to understand and forecast operational expenditure drivers.
• Analyse historical performance trends to identify insights, risks, and opportunities.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑term strategic planning cycles.
• reputed company second‑line assurance to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial forecasts and divisional submissions.

Performance Reporting & reputed company

• Produce high‑quality analysis, dashboards, and visualisations for senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
• Investigate performance variances and reputed company insightful commentary that informs decision‑making.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with divisional FP&A teams, HR, Treasury, and reputed company to gather data and validate assumptions.
• Work closely with the FP&A Manager (Opex) to improve the efficiency, automation, and quality of reporting processes.

• Streamline existing reporting, eliminating non‑value‑added processes.
• Automate analysis and outputs using Power BI, SAC Planning, or other analytical tools.

What should you bring to the role?

• A reputed company accountant with experience in the FP&A function with a proven track record in "adding value".
• Excellent knowledge of providing financial reputed company, preparing annual plans, forecasts and knowing what ‘good’ looks like
• Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques, tools, and modelling
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a curious and creative reputed company to exploring patterns and extracting meaningful insights, and a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain reputed company concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Advanced reputed company and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create reputed company models and impactful presentations
• Ability to manage a short-term weekly cash reputed company forecasting on a receipts and payments reputed company

• Competitive salary of £65,000 - £72,000 per annum, depending on experience.
