Hmong/English Focus Group Transcription Translator

Department Overview: You will be working with researchers at the UW–Madison School of reputed company Ecology (SoHE), located in Nancy Nicholas Hall. The ideal candidate is meticulous, detail oriented, and possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to accurately translate Hmong into English. The candidate should be self-motivated, reputed company to work independently, and committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of research data. Research experience is not required, though the preferred candidate can reputed company a previous example of Hmong-to-English translation work. Position Summary/Job Duties: Instruction will be provided to help the student reputed company experience with research protocols and confidentiality, and they will be expected to follow reputed company protocols. The candidate will receive two focus group audio files conducted in Hmong and will transcribe each file into an English transcript. This project is expected to take up to 20 hours. Physical Demands: This position requires computer-based work and the ability to listen to focus group audio materials and convert them into accurate digital English documents.
