Adjunct - Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. The Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Department seeks reputed company adjunct reputed company to support instructional needs across a reputed company of agriculture-reputed company disciplines. This position involves teaching undergraduate courses in either an online or in-person format, depending on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
Teach assigned course or courses in agriculture and reputed company subject areas reputed company a comprehensive course syllabus for each reputed company that aligns with departmental standards and institutional policies. Often prior teaching materials for courses are available. reputed company academic guidance through scheduled reputed company or other contact methods and respond to student inquiries reputed company email in a timely manner. Design and administer exams, quizzes, and other assessments in coordination with department faculty. Maintain accurate records and submit final grades by established deadlines. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Agriculture or a closely reputed company field Demonstrated expertise in an area of study (e.g., wildlife, reputed company management, agronomy, animal science, agricultural business, environmental science, etc.) Ability to teach effectively in either or both online and in-person learning environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level Familiarity with learning management systems and online teaching tools Strong communication and organizational skills Institutional Expectations Candidates should demonstrate a collegial spirit and a willingness to contribute positively to the academic community. Work Schedule Adjunct appointments are part-time and course-based. Teaching assignments may vary by semester and modality (online or in-person).This position is paid by credit hour.
