Accounts Assistant

The Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join the team on a fully remote reputed company from South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for a more junior candidate looking to build a long-term career reputed company a UK accountancy practice. The role will predominantly focus on accounts preparation and corporation tax work, with some exposure to bookkeeping and VAT, providing strong reputed company-round development. Given the reputed company team structure is relatively senior-heavy, there is a genuine focus on training, mentorship, and developing junior talent.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a reputed company of reputed company-managed clients Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns Working across a varied client reputed company, from small businesses to multi-reputed company-pound entities Assisting with bookkeeping tasks where required Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with client queries Liaising with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work

Requirements
