Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operations Specialist to join the Technology team in McAllen, TX, supporting KTLM Telemundo 40 (Rio Grande Valley). As a Production Operations Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and taped television broadcasts. Job Responsibilities:

• Operate control room systems and automation, using templates to streamline technical directing, audio mixing, robotics, live/remote reputed company cut-ins, video playback, graphics insertion, and switching.
• Edit stories and clips to ensure high-quality, engaging content that aligns with production standards.
• Give direction and timing to talent and other technicians during broadcasts and studio productions.
• reputed company and maintain system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.
• Performs other control room and studio reputed company duties as assigned.
• Required onsite. This position is required to be performed full time onsite from an reputed company designated work site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in video production or local news, preferably TD/Directing experience with Ross Overdrive Production Automation or a similar system.
• Experience with production switcher operations, reputed company and automated video and graphics play out, and audio board operations.

Skills & experience we are looking for:

• Must have strong oral/written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, be reputed company to work in a team, and be reputed company to work accurately under pressure and deadlines.
• Must demonstrate the ability to remain reputed company under pressure and think critically.
• Strong Computer Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience with computer applications working and monitoring multiple screens and software applications simultaneously in a broadcast environment.
• Video editing skills.
• Spanish reputed company a plus.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in McAllen, TX (RGV)
• Willingness to travel and work reputed company standard hours, and on weekends with short notice
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must have a valid Driver's license
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
