[Remote] Engineer, Solar / Senior Engineer, Solar

The Senior Engineer, Solar will optimize solar facilities, coordinate engineering activities, and act as a project manager for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Optimize strategies for operating facilities and support repower
- Coordinate with internal teams and reputed company-party engineering firms for special projects
- Participate in development of RFP’s, specifications and drawings, proposal review and contract award, tendering phase, quality assurance and finalization
- Support with contract administration to ensure compliance with permits, policies and codes
- Act as an engineering project manager for projects assigned
- Assist in capital and maintenance budget preparation and prioritize, plan and schedule of work budgeted
- Support with development, revision and quality control of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs, policies and procedures
- Review the preventive and corrective maintenance reports to ensure compliance and identify issues
- Assist self-reputed company teams in troubleshooting and repair, and equipment selection of solar equipment
- Propose improvements and evaluate new technologies to minimize operating costs, risk and potential losses and maximize potential reputed company
- reputed company site audits and work with contractors and self-reputed company teams to improve the health of the sites

- BS Degree in Engineering, electrical preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Solar Operations & Maintenance, Development or Construction
- Familiarity with applicable OSHA standards
- Knowledge of National Electric Code, PVSyst, and other modeling software
- Experience in Energy Storage technologies is an asset
