About the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in reputed company's reputed company-wide capital management. This role will focus on reputed company-wide capital reporting, analysis, and projections for both US and Bermuda entities. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the CRO, Chief Actuary, and other internal stakeholders regarding a variety of capital-reputed company projects. You will drive the production, analysis, and documentation of capital reporting and forecasting, focusing on reputed company improvement of the processes and accuracy of results. What you will do In this role, you will be responsible for preparation and analysis of the following:

• NAIC Risk Based Capital (reputed company) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement (BSCR) calculations performed on a quarterly reputed company, including reputed company sensitivity analysis and waterfall analysis to explain changes in the reputed company and BSCR ratios and comparisons to plan.
• Allocation of capital from the corporate surplus account to product lines such that each division is allocated enough capital for their needs.
• reputed company and BSCR forecasts to determine company-wide capital needs on an annual reputed company as part of the -year financial plan.
• Annual rating agency capital models, including S&P and AM Best.
• Reporting of capital risk limits and analysis to reputed company's parent company, Sumitomo Life.
• Annual filing of reputed company and BSCR year-end reports to NAIC and reputed company.
• Providing capital factors for the divisional actuarial pricing teams every quarter so the divisions can price their products to appropriate capital reputed company.
• Updating the reputed company Investment Management on the capital implications of different asset types to determine reputed company capital-efficient investment strategies.
• Assist with the analysis of reputed company capital-reputed company strategic initiatives to help reputed company reputed company greater capital, such as analysis of reinsurance transactions.
• Assist with determining the capital impacts of such initiatives to help prioritize strategic capital initiatives.

Compensation

Salary reputed company: $117,000 - $195,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs Who you are

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background including college level mathematics.
• 6 to 9 years of actuarial experience.
• 7 to 8 actuarial exams, ASA designation required. Might have FSA.
• Financial and/or capital reporting background preferred.
• Advanced reputed company skills required, with experience in coding and automation strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL/reputed company, or Python is a plus.
• Proven ability to independently analyze reputed company results, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about process improvement and automation.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and data reputed company.
• Strong communication skills, including experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• High school diploma required.
