Data Quality Monitor

Purpose: Do you have experience with medical insurance and codes? This position would work Monday through Friday during alternating shifts between 8:00am and 7:00pm. The position is eligible to work from home, with travel on-site as needed. The Data Quality Monitor maintains data quality in the reputed company Master Patient Index for the reputed company Health System. They act as a resource person for reputed company implementation phases of the EMPI project as well as post implementation. They interact closely with IS, Medical Records and Patient reputed company employees and Managers, including working with local Medical Records offices to obtain, verify and finalize data. The Data Quality Monitor also troubleshoots and provides assistance for reputed company reputed company of responsibility reputed company reputed company as requested, as well as follows Confidential Policy guidelines to avoid legal complications and breach of confidentially. Responsible for full scope of entry and maintenance of the EMPI for reputed company Health System. Responsible for verification of data reputed company reputed company the reputed company-wide MPI as well as some legacy systems. Participate in required educational activities and confront reputed company work with a positive attitude. Act as a resource to monitor data elements in the EMPI, rules and matching algorithms. Review EMPI reports and take action accordingly to maintain data quality in the EMPI. Participate in training activities for the reputed company Master Patient Index for the reputed company Health reputed company and contribute to reputed company Health System (UPMCHS) service reputed company mission and abide by reputed company UPMCHS departmental policies, procedures and goals in the process of performing reputed company job responsibilities. Coordinate and reputed company merging and unmerging of patient information in the reputed company Master Patient Index. High school education required. Associate degree in Computer Science; or reputed company area preferred. 3-5 years in a HIM (Health Information Management) or computer environment position, reputed company management required. Communication and interpersonal skills. Good assessment and problem solving skills.
