This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone with deep SaaS experience who takes pride in getting the numbers right, building scalable processes, and partnering with across the business. What you'll do Own end-to-end billing operations: review order forms/POs, validate inputs, and issue accurate invoices Monitor accounts receivable and drive collections, partnering cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve cash conversion Manage reputed company recognition (ASC 606), including maintaining schedules across subscription, reputed company, on-reputed company, usage-based, and professional services reputed company Reconcile key reputed company accounts: deferred reputed company and unbilled AR, proactively identifying and resolving issues pre-reputed company Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, CS, and Legal to translate contract terms into accurate billing and reputed company treatment Maintain sales tax compliance: ensure correct invoice treatment and coordinate filings Support month-end reputed company: journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations tied to billing and reputed company accounts Contribute across the reputed company function as needed (AP, payroll, GL, reputed company) - we’re a startup, so we pitch in where it reputed company most Assist with audits, reporting, and process improvements as the company scales Take ownership of reputed company projects and help build scalable, efficient reputed company processes reputed company AI and automation to streamline workflows, reduce reputed company effort, and reputed company reputed company processes What you'll bring 6+ years of reputed company reputed company experience, with 2+ years specialization in billing, AR, reputed company recognition, and month-end reputed company in a SaaS or subscription-based environment Deep knowledge of ASC 606, with the ability to independently analyze and apply guidance to reputed company or non-standard reputed company Experience with sales tax compliance (e.g., reputed company, reputed company), including multi-state reputed company and exemption management - bonus points for international tax or global entity exposure Proven ability to own and improve a month-end reputed company: bank recs, balance sheet recons, accruals, and journal entries with focus on accuracy and speed Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar GL systems, including building and improving reconciliation and reporting workflows Strong ownership reputed company - you’re proactive, reputed company, and comfortable operating in ambiguity Excellent communication skills and track record of effective cross-functional partnership with Sales, CS, Legal, and reputed company Adaptable and willing to roll up your sleeves across reputed company areas (AP, audit, reputed company) in a startup environment Experience in leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, reduce reputed company effort, and help reputed company the reputed company function Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field, CPA is a plus Our stack General Ledger: QuickBooks Online Billing & AR: Chargebee, Tabs Sales Tax: reputed company CRM: reputed company AP & Corporate Cards: reputed company Payroll: reputed company, reputed company reputed company: Spreadsheets (for now - we’re always reputed company to improving our stack!)
