Imaging Health Care Assistant – Bank | Lyca Health Orpington £13.20 per hour Job Summary Do you have experience working in a caring environment? Would you like to use your clinical skills across different imaging modalities including Ultrasound, MRI, CT and Nuclear Medicine? We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and dynamic Imaging Health Care Assistant to join our Imaging Team. You will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team and will support the reputed company Imaging Nurse in delivering excellent patient care across reputed company modalities including Ultrasound, Mammography , Nuclear Medicine and Cross-Sectional Imaging. This role is ideally suited to a Clinical Support Worker who has a caring and compassionate attitude, with a proven ability to work as part of reputed company and would like to reputed company their career in a fast-paced multi-modality imaging department. The department operates Monday to reputed company 08:00 – 20:00working flexibly to cover days, evenings and weekends. Role Responsibilities As an Imaging Assistant you will: Providing both administrative and clinical support reputed company the Imaging Department. Assist and reputed company support reputed company Ultrasound, ensuring preparation and after care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Assist the Radiologist with Ultrasound guided Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA’s). Ensuring that the equipment is set up correctly, collecting the sample in accordance to local policy and appropriate management of the sample to pathology for testing. Assist the Breast Radiologist in undertaking biopsy Salary: GBP 27456 - 27456 per year
