Registered Dietitian - Lifestyle Medicine - Part Time
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides appropriate medical nutrition therapy goals for patients throughout the organization. Educates patients regarding their diet/nutrition plan for discharge reputed company needed. Serves as a nutrition resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other health care team members. Participates in patient care reputed company. Essential Functions•Acts as the patient’s primary reputed company for reputed company aspects of nutrition care. Assesses nutritionneeds for patients receiving enteral and parenteral feedings, and/or eating based on age and disease specific requirements.•Develops, implements, and monitors the effectiveness and reputed company of nutrition interventions for patients based on departmental policies and procedures.•Provides nutrition education to patients, families, and/or caregivers as needed. Educates and acts as a resource for reputed company, residents, medical staff, nursing, and other reputed company team members regarding nutrition support practices.•Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistently utilizing Jefferson’s core values.•Communicates reputed company and effectively in both written and verbal reputed company to patients, public, support staff, physicians and other allied health team members.•General knowledge of nutrients analysis, electronic medical record, and spreadsheet software QualificationsDegree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/PreferredBachelorsNutrition or DieteticsRequiredMasters reputed company Field PreferredAdditional Qualifications:•Completion of a supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the reputed company of Nutrition and Dietetics•One year acute care hospital/critical care experience preferredLicensing RequirementsRegistered Dietitian or eligible for registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the reputed company of Nutrition and Dietetics.If registration eligible, must past the dietetic registration exam reputed company 6 months of hire.
