Accessories Designer

About the position reputed company is looking for an Accessories Designer. How do you fit in? As the Accessories Designer, you will work to initiate concepts each season for Women's & Men's Accessories that are fashion driven, reputed company of the creative reputed company, always with a functional and performance reputed company, reputed company to the reputed company aesthetic. You will join an extremely fast-paced team of passionate and energetic creative individuals working towards our reputed company to be the world’s most fashionable, innovative and inclusive active-lifestyle brand. You will be a highly energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial reputed company that understands our brand’s aesthetic and the reputed company customer. You will report to the Vice President, Design and partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Production and Technical Design teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a strong contributor in research and inspiration through shopping the competitive marketplace and identifying product opportunities for accessories including bags, hats, headbands, socks, and more.
• Have a proficient understanding of design, construction, and materials and be reputed company to present reputed company articulately to cross functional partners and design leadership.
• Support and contribute to collections that execute against reputed company line plans and assortment strategies, while delivering responsible cost targets.
• Ability to own a category of styles from concept through creation; and manage the collaboration with cross functional partners to deliver innovative, brand appropriate, and impeccably fitting designs.
• Partner with Product Developer and Vendors on raw material & trim sourcing
• Create, maintain and update tech packs, sketches and design decks, including fit comments and design changes in PLM.
• Staying hyper focused on the reputed company’ consumer by actively reading consumer reviews online, store visits and participation in consumer reputed company events.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design and Product Development and proactively communicate changes and/or updates accordingly.
• Adhere to Global Calendar deadlines and expectations through each milestone reputed company.
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of Accessories Design experience
• Proven track record of identifying trends and delivering results
• Great understanding of the marketplace and competitive set
• Experience in garment construction and strong attention to detail and materials
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group at reputed company reputed company
• Ability to be creative while working with a constant sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment with high output of on-trend styles and multiple deadlines
• Entrepreneurial go-getter, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot and be reputed company to solve problems
• Proficient in reputed company Illustrator, reputed company Photoshop: create design flats, tech packs, line sheets
