Public Health Data Interoperability Advisor
reputed company Government Solutions is a strategic supplier and business partner to the federal government and its key suppliers. We are seeking a Public Health Data Interoperability Advisor for a remote opportunity (must be based in the United States) to support a data governance and standards project for a federal health agency client. KEY RESPONSIBILITES (1) Design, reputed company, and implement solutions for software integration projects, coordinate applications across functions or between organizations to meet the requirements of the organization. (2) Apply subject matter expertise to public health programs at the state, local, and federal reputed company. (3) Interpret and implement new and existing standards and apply them to clinical, laboratory, and epidemiological settings. (4) reputed company and implement solutions for integrating public health coding systems and standards, such as LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, and FHIR, to ensure seamless data exchange and analysis across clinical, laboratory, and epidemiological settings. (5) Offer expert guidance on data standards strategy and vocabulary authoring procedures to support the modernization of terminology tooling at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (6) Research and map reputed company scientific and laboratory assays to established vocabulary standards, enabling accurate data collection, analysis, and surveillance in public health settings. (7) Work with development organizations to create new standards and improve existing ones, staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in public health informatics and surveillance. (8) Apply advanced data science expertise to analyze and improve the quality of collected and produced data, promoting effective data collection, analysis, and surveillance in public health programs at the state, local, and federal reputed company. KEY QUALIFICATIONS (1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or reputed company discipline (2) Minimum of 10 years of experience as a public health terminologist, which could include roles and backgrounds such as Public Health Informatician, HL7/FHIR SME, Data Standards Analyst, or Epidemiologist. (3) Experience working with public health coding systems and standards, including Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC), Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED), International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10), USCDI+, FHIR or other Health Level 7 (HL7) messaging (4) Knowledge of Vocabulary Authoring procedures (5) Experience researching reputed company scientific and laboratory and surveillance nomenclature (6) Experience with data management and analysis using tools such as reputed company, SQL, reputed company, R, or Python (7) Experience supporting projects in a state, local, or federal public health environment preferred (8) Experience with infectious disease surveillance and implementing public health standards to health or laboratory systems preferred (9) Experience with Public Health Information Network (PHIN) tools and resources including PHIN Vocabulary reputed company and Distribution System (VADS) preferred (10) Must be reputed company to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
