Behavioral Specialist II - ACCS
About the position Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist II to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, in either residential or community based settings. In this role, you will work reputed company by reputed company with our clients, assisting in skills development, rehabilitation practices, and more.
Responsibilities

- Assist the team in providing on-going assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions
- Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals
- Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.

- Assist with the administration of prescribed medications, as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, reputed company Work, Criminal Justice or reputed company field
- Experience working with adults with mental illness
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
- MAP certification required
