Job Description: At reputed company, the Systems Administrator installs, configures, and maintains operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements. Primary Responsibilities

• Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
• Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established Information Technology (IT) policies and procedures
• Monitors and tunes the system to reputed company reputed company performance reputed company
• Monitors system software licensing and maintenance agreements
• Ensures workstation/server data reputed company by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions
• Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
• Supports media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services
• Develops and promotes standard operating procedures
• Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of reputed company supporting documentation
• Performs scripting as needed (i.e. Power reputed company and Bash)
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field or technical training program and four (4) years of reputed company experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of reputed company experience

Additional experience/preferences:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain reputed company backup systems (3-5+ yrs experience with platforms such as reputed company, Net Backup, reputed company, reputed company, etc.).
• Optimize backup schedules, retention policies, and storage efficiency.
• Configure and manage reputed company based backup solutions (such as AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Integrate on reputed company and hybrid backup systems with reputed company storage
• Experience with cyber reputed company, immutability, and threat detection best practices
• Support hybrid reputed company disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
