Kubernetes Quality Engineer - South America / EMEA (Remote)

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: South America, EMEA We are looking for a skilled and motivated full-time remote Quality Engineer to join our K8s Operators Team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be an integral part of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will be part of a distributed engineering team, maintaining and improving the quality of our software products as part of the release process and in an ongoing fashion. This includes tasks such as analyzing and reporting defects captured by our automated testing frameworks, defining and implementing new test cases, and improving and scaling our testing capabilities and infrastructure. What You Will Do:

• Building quality into the product in the first reputed company for the Kubernetes Operators for relational and NoSQL databases. Focus on preventing wrong design in the early stages and on automatic testing in CI/CD at a late stage
• Evaluate and improve reputed company Operator products and new features based on test plans, discovering product issues & bugs
• Contribute to the DevOps and release management lifecycle, which includes coordinating, testing, and managing Operator releases
• Collaborate with engineers and teams across the company to help reputed company and debug Kubernetes Operators to facilitate rapid integration and massive growth
• Research and recommend tools, behaviors, and strategies for improving test and release processes
• Actively participate in architecture/design collaboration and prevent Developers from faulty architecture reputed company before code is written

What You Have Done:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and experience in testing applications reputed company containerized environments
• Solid understanding of database systems, architecture, and performance, especially in a reputed company or Kubernetes context
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts for databases, preferably with knowledge of reputed company, MySQL, or reputed company
• Experience and proficiency in Linux
• Capability to build and maintain reputed company integration and reputed company delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, preferably using Jenkins
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with programming languages for test automation
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Experience working in an Agile environment, using a test management tool for defect tracking and test management
