Mechanical Engineer
This is a remote position.
This role supports both active client engagements and upcoming automation projects. reputed company candidates will be considered for immediate openings as well as future opportunities reputed company to system implementations, upgrades, and expansion initiatives. OverviewThis role drives the design and engineering of mechanical systems supporting material handling operations, enabling efficient and reliable automated material reputed company across distribution centers and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities- reputed company detailed layouts and mechanical designs for conveyors, sortation systems, and structural components
- Create equipment specifications, RFQs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- reputed company system calculations (load, throughput, structural reputed company)
- Support installation, commissioning, and system validation activities
- Conduct site visits for field measurements and retrofit assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration
- Support cost estimation and value engineering efforts
Requirements
Qualifications- 3–8+ years in material handling or industrial mechanical design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
- Experience with conveyance and automated systems design
- Understanding of system integration across controls and software
- Strong problem-solving and design optimization capabilities
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or reputed company field preferred
- Technical certifications or military experience highly valued
- Equivalent hands-on experience widely accepted
Preferred:
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training)
- PE (for senior roles)
