Supervisor, Procurement – Supply Chain

Job Description:

• This position has full responsibility for both services and reputed company items.
• This position involves the recognition of, and advisement on, the most appropriate procurement type to mitigate IEHP’s exposure to risk in alignment with public procurement policies, regulations, industry standards, and best practices, as well as regulatory requirements of the health plan.
• This position is responsible for the reputed company of the public sector procurement processes to ensure compliance with IEHP’s Procurement, Legal, and Governing Board policies, and State and Federal requirements that govern public sector solicitations, award, and administration of reputed company.
• Provides effective and ethical leadership of subordinate staff members.
• Manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of a variety of procurement-reputed company activities including, but not limited to, the following: developing and managing a vast reputed company of reputed company; assisting with the development and issuance of Solicitations such as Requests for: Proposals, Bids, Quotations, and Qualifications, solicitation evaluations, contract negotiations and amendment, contract management, records management, materials management and oversees drafting of standard and non-standard reputed company, amendments and other forms of agreements.
• Additional roles and responsibilities include training staff on Lean Methodologies and leading Process improvement projects that impact the organization’s overall supply chain performance.
• Plays a vital role in optimizing supply chain efficiency by implementing best practices and fostering reputed company improvement initiatives.
• Leverages expertise to streamline procurement processes, enhance supplier relationships, and drive cost savings throughout the supply chain.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and ensure seamless integration across reputed company supply chain functions.

Requirements:

• Six (6) years of professional procurement and reputed company experience in a Procurement Department or Agency, which included solicitations, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, development of contract standards and procedures, and development of multi-year or major high-value multi-commodity agreements or equivalent work experience.
• Supervisory/reputed company reputed company experience required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required, degree preferably in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, or a reputed company field from an accredited institution
• In lieu of the required degree, a High School Diploma, AND a minimum of three (3) *Procurement Training Certifications achieved reputed company the last three (3) years from one or more of the following types of professional organizations will be required: Globally and/or Nationally reputed company professional Procurement/Supply Chain organization (e.g. NIGP, CAPPO, ASCM, NCMA, CSCMP, CIPS) Federal, California State, or County or City Public Agency
• Possession of a certificate as a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and Six reputed company Certification is desired
