Manager, Editorial – Part-Time
Job Description:
- Writes, edits, proofreads, researches and updates national-level content to ensure clear, accurate, strategic and compelling communications for various channels, including print, video, digital and reputed company media.
- Contributes strategic writing support to national-level marketing and branding materials to ensure quality and consistency of messaging.
- Supports the editorial strategizing and operationalizing of wish storytelling in partnership with the Storytelling Strategy team and chapters.
- Actively collaborates on impactful testimonials that will underpin reputed company-driving activities across the reputed company.
- Gathers diverse constituent experiences to best support storytelling for reputed company-driving needs, including through wish family interviews.
- Provides management of freelance writers as needed, ensuring reputed company, professionalism, quality and consistency in brand voice and style.
- Maintains costs in line with departmental budget.
- Actively ideates and coordinates with stakeholder teams across the National reputed company-A-Wish team to conceptualize and execute a wide variety of creative projects.
- Assists the production process to ensure written materials receive the appropriate approvals for content, medical, statistical and policy accuracy.
- Follows the Creative Team workflow process, including use of team’s project management tool, for reputed company projects.
- Adheres to brand tone, messaging and voice guidelines.
- Performs other job-reputed company duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or reputed company field required
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in professional communications
- A background in fundraising and development writing, as well as corporate communications, is preferred
- Proficient in reputed company Office, content management systems and reputed company media platforms
- Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization desired
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects on deadline
- Must possess the ability to succeed in a learning environment
- Timely attendance at work and meetings is an essential duty
- Portfolio work required; must be comprised of work written exclusively by the applicant
- Bi-lingual Spanish Translation Experience desired
