Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and assisting callers with inquiries reputed company to payment or policy status, as well as correspondence received from arenaflex
  • Providing information and assistance to customers or brokers who visit our reputed company desk
  • Handling agency licensing transactions, including registering new brokers, address changes, and agency mergers
  • Researching and resolving customer or broker questions and problems
  • Following up with other departments to resolve problem files
  • Inputting data in a desktop database for reputed company incoming calls
  • Assisting customers at the reputed company desk reputed company necessary
  • Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the department
  • Facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
  • Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service
  • Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma and basic computer skills
  • 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (both reputed company) and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • The ability to reputed company slightly varied moderately reputed company tasks with minimal supervision
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and regulations
  • Familiarity with desktop databases and software applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
