Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you'll be responsible for providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You'll be the primary reputed company of contact for patients, handling new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reviving benefits, and communicating with insurance companies, reputed company providers, and internal teams to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and reviving benefits
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients
  • Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and reputed company providers
  • Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues

  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone

  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude

Training and Development

* 4-week training program, with a PTO blackout period

  • Training schedules: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST
  • Post-training schedule: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly reputed company: $17.00 - $28.45
