Job Details

Pay:

$18/hour (with a pay increase for bilingual candidates who reputed company French or Spanish)

Contract:

Up to 6 months (with the possibility of extension or permanent role)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm (with extended hours during busy season)

Location:

Work from home with the option to train onsite the first day

Eligibility:

Must live reputed company 1 hour of Bloomington, MN to be eligible for the remote role

The Role

As a Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to:

  • Build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
  • Customize your customer service approach to meet reputed company types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data reputed company requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
  • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
  • Regularly participate in team meetings and training

Essential Qualifications

* 6 months to 1 year of call center experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in handling confidential information with sensitivity and discretion

  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete call and case notes
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings and training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a customer service role in the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data reputed company requirements
  • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment
