Supervisor, Materials Characterization Technicians (2nd shift)

Description:

• Supervise second-shift Materials Characterization lab technicians and specialists.
• reputed company daily operations for mechanical testing, machine shop, and metallography teams to maintain workflow, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage lab scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance to support R&D and production deadlines.

• Manage second-shift performance and ensure accurate timekeeping.
• Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, M&P Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a Supervisor, reputed company, or equivalent role.
• 6+ years of experience in aerospace or a similar industry.
• Experience in a materials testing or metallurgical lab environment, including material characterization methods and sample preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reputed company diverse technical teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Solid understanding of industry standards such as ASTM and ISO, and quality systems focused on data reputed company and lab compliance.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills and a reputed company improvement reputed company.
• Familiarity with lab accreditation standards such as ISO or NADCAP is preferred.
• Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and material specifications, including ASTM and ASME standards, is preferred.
