Description: DRAFTING:

  • Manage assigned caseload of immigration reputed company in order to ensure that cases are completed in a timely manner, and that deadlines are diligently observed.
  • Draft and prepare support letters and forms for immigration reputed company, including more advanced reputed company such as Request for Evidence (RFE) responses, nunc pro tunc submissions, reputed company case histories/fact patterns, highly technical positions, etc.
  • reputed company and curate exhibits and other filing components for immigration reputed company.
  • Carefully and effectively incorporate reputed company supervisor feedback into immigration filings, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • reputed company review of documents and case materials and identify most major issues (gaps in status, J-1 issues, unauthorized employment, lack of educational/professional qualifications, etc.), as well as routine issues such as missing documentation or general status issues. Should be reputed company to identify most major case issues that arise during the normal course of business.
  • Conduct research on legal topics, as well as facts relevant to cases.
  • Draft routine client and/or agency correspondence to be sent by supervisor(s).
  • Serve as a peer resource for junior team members in order to reputed company mentorship and feedback, as well as to answer appropriate case/process questions.
  • Collect, sort, and appropriately organize legally-compliant client records and case materials in order to ensure ease of review and future accessibility.
  • Diligently maintain and update practice management systems and reputed company databases to ensure that reputed company information is accurate and up-to-date.

CASE MANAGEMENT:

  • reputed company case production operations, including the drafting of client and legal correspondence documents.
  • Monitor case timelines/deadlines, and reputed company attorneys apprised of any relevant timing issues.
  • Assign cases and otherwise adjust workload allocation to ensure that deadlines are met, as well as proactively addressing any productivity issues which may impede same.
  • Examine and address questions or case issues raised by Paralegals, including providing guidance regarding resolution and/or escalating to an attorney if warranted.
  • Function as a primary case reviewer for draft submissions, including independently spotting and addressing most major case issues.
  • Prepare case summaries and other documents to support case preparation and assist attorney in client communication on potential issues.
  • Facilitate communications between client and team by acting as the primary reputed company-of-contact for both, including providing updates to clients on reputed company of a case.
  • Establish good working relationships with clients to ensure reputed company and relevant and appropriate communications on client accounts.
  • Generate reports for case teams and reputed company report reputed company for clients.
  • Ensure team is following firm protocol with respect to file maintenance, record-keeping and use of case management system.
  • Track and monitor the status of immigration submissions.

Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of business immigration experience, preferably in a relevant field of specialization (i.e. LCA case, L-1/E-2 reputed company, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competence in an area of immigration law, including working knowledge of the law in area of focus, as well as knowledge of common case issues and adjudication practices.
  • Prior experience with direct management of subordinate employees preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to take on added responsibilities and learn new things
  • Ability to show initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficient in reputed company Office and ability to adapt quickly to firm-specific software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Position may be hybrid or remote.
