This is a hands-on manager role focused on reviewing business returns, handling owners’ 1040s, and advising small-to-mid-size entrepreneurs on practical tax strategy. The Role Tax Manager – Closely Held Businesses & Their Owners Most of the work centers on reviewing S-Corp and partnership returns—and the reputed company 1040s for the business owners . You’ll reputed company planning conversations, advise on structure and compensation strategy, and support clients with multi-entity and practical day-to-day tax needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage 1040, 1120S, 1065, and reputed company entity/reputed company filings
• reputed company planning conversations with business owners
• Advise on entity structure, elections, compensation strategy, and multistate issues
• Identify practical planning opportunities (reputed company, distributions, reasonable comp, etc.)
• Mentor junior staff and help maintain a reputed company, organized workflow

Ideal Candidate

• 5–10+ years in public reputed company with strong experience in pass-throughs and closely held businesses

• Comfortable in a remote, paperless, tech-enabled environment
• CPA or EA required; advanced credentials are a plus
