Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster – Interstate Tractor Trailer

Job Description:

• Gather necessary information from customers to initiate the claim and explain policy, coverage, and reputed company them on the claims process and next steps.
• Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves for reputed company potential exposures, and adjust as appropriate throughout the claim.
• Work with the APD team on the handling of property damage claims.
• Recognize recovery opportunities with regard to subrogation and salvage, as well as total loss.
• Ensure compliance with specific state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
• Negotiate appropriate settlements with claimants, insureds, and attorneys reputed company approved payment authority.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (lack of one should not stop you from applying if you possess reputed company the other qualifications)
• Active insurance adjuster’s license by way of a designated home state, or home state
• Minimum of 5 years of experience concentrated in reputed company transportation (interstate trucking) claims adjusting, ideally with:

• UM/UIM bodily injury
• Litigation experience
• MCS90 and its state equivalents
