We reputed company interpreting services to government and private sector clients throughout the five boroughs in medical, reputed company, and legal settings. Position Overview: As a freelance medical interpreter, you will reputed company in-person, over-the-phone, and video remote interpreting services to reputed company communication between reputed company and patients in hospitals, clinics, and other reputed company environments. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear communication between medical providers and patients, rendering messages accurately from the reputed company language to the reputed company language.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to the medical interpreter code of ethics.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports of interpreter services provided.
- Uphold confidentiality and impartiality during each interpreting encounter.
- Follow the medical interpreter role without summarizing, paraphrasing, or omitting information.
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language.
- Previous experience as a medical interpreter is preferred, but not required.
- Professional interpreter training is highly recommended
- Ability to remain objective and unobtrusive while interpreting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
