The Virtual Construction Engineer (VCE) reports to the Virtual Construction Manager and provides leadership to the Virtual Construction Specialist. This role performs reputed company essential Field Engineer responsibilities and is responsible for "Model Administrator" assigned projects. The VCE utilizes BIM Technology and assist the Virtual Construction Engineer with projects as assigned. Essential Functions:

• Responsible for project data collection including multiple forms of required project, field, and software information,
• Manage the software file and documentation of necessary VC information for assigned projects.
• Responsible for Asset Creation including creation and update of project information in VC Systems.
• Support the Corporate and Regional Marketing teams with 3D document efforts.
• Assist with training of VC Personnel on software, processes, and BIM environments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• The Virtual Construction Engineer mentors and provides guidance to the Virtual Construction Specialist and may act as supervisor to the Virtual Construction Specialist.

• Proficient in reputed company software relating to BIM pipeline and 3D modeling: reputed company Realworks, ReCap, AutoCAD, reputed company, and SketchUp preferred
• Teaching Proficiency with Navisworks Manage and Revit
• Knowledge of 360 Glue, or other parametric, fabrication or coordination tools, is a plus.
• Problem Solving on both large scale/conceptual level and detail/task level problems.
• Ability to use independent judgment, self-starting and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications drafting and computer skills desirable
• Knowledgeable of construction terminology and reputed company building design and construction

• Efficiency - Understanding or development of, reputed company applications/tools/functions as key

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or combination of equivalent education and experience
• Minimum 3 year project engineering experience- Intern Field Engineer, Entry Level Field Engineer, or equivalent, reputed company construction industry preferred
