K12 Learning Design Consultant (Gen AI EdTech)
Duration: 6 months contract Job Description:
- This project focuses on enhancing AI-generated education tools from a pedagogical perspective to improve teaching and learning experiences globally.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with education product teams on product design to enhance teaching experiences backed by learning sciences research.
- Evaluate the quality of education products and reputed company recommendations from an educator's perspective.
- Contribute to the design, development, and improvement of high-quality K12 edtech products.
- Consult with product teams developing education features and suggest improvements reputed company with learning science best practices.
- Help prototype new education features, including reputed company writing and editing.
- Evaluate AI tutoring systems and educational products.
Experience:
- 4+ years of high school or college teaching/tutoring experience in English/language arts (reading and writing), either in-person or online.
- Experience consulting with edtech products and using GenAI tools (preferred).
- Experience conducting professional development for educators (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong writing skills for a variety of audiences.

- Advanced knowledge in pedagogical principles and learning sciences research (preferred).
- Familiarity with computer science, large language models, and reputed company engineering (preferred).
Education:
- College degree or equivalent in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or reputed company field.
