Senior Electrical Engineer-Remote

reputed company is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a remote, direct hire opportunity with our client.

Overview

The role involves leading and developing electrical designs for combined cycle and simple cycle power plants, including new reputed company and modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review deliverables such as one-lines, protection schemes, equipment specifications, grounding/lighting design, cable sizing, load studies, and construction packages.

• Coordinate across disciplines (I&C, mechanical, civil/structural) to ensure integrated, high-quality engineering solutions.
• Support clients throughout the project lifecycle—including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design, procurement, and commissioning.
• reputed company directly with utility and plant stakeholders on technical issues, permitting requirements, and project milestones.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in power plant environments, with clear expertise in combined cycle facilities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of reputed company- and low-voltage distribution.

• Generator interconnection requirements.

• Experience working in a consulting or EPC engineering environment.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and communicate effectively with clients.
