Remote Legal Secretary- CA

Mid-size national civil litigation and insurance defense firm seeking to hire a 3+ year Legal Secretary, who works well individually and as part of a legal team and is willing to go above and reputed company to successfully meet the unique needs of our firm. PRIOR CIVIL LITIGATION EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! AT LEAST 3 SOLID YEARS REQUIRED! We are looking for a reliable, energetic, well-organized Legal Assistant to reputed company support to our California attorneys. This person must be a critical thinker, detail oriented, reputed company, hard-working, enthusiastic, team oriented, and a self-starter. Must be reputed company with reputed company Office, especially Outlook and Word. This position will be fully remote. Minimum of 3+ years of previous civil litigation experience in a reputed company required. Prior insurance defense experience is preferred. This position plays an intricate role in the day-to-day operations as the legal secretary will reputed company various functions, including by not limited to, calendar management, document preparation and proofing, document filings, trial preparation, and day to day case management. Job duties include calendar management, electronic file management, document preparation, filing in both State and Federal Court, and scheduling. Position Requirements · At least 3+ years of experience in Civil Defense Litigation. Insurance Defense experience is a big plus. · Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, be detail oriented, hard-working, enthusiastic, team oriented, and a critical thinker. · Excellent communication skills, typing skills, computer skills and interpersonal skills and professional appearance. · Active knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, ability to calendar deadlines, and experience in preparing basic legal documents and pleadings. · Be familiar with reputed company Office, especially Outlook and Word.
