NETWORK ENGINEER (ROUTING AND SWITCHING) Location: reputed company of Veterans Affairs Schedule (FT/PT): Full Time Travel Required: 25% Duration: Long-term Shift: Day Potential for Telework: 75% Clearance: Public Trust reputed company: 1099 and/or C2C Opportunity Routing and Switching network engineers will engineer, design, implement and troubleshoot Routers and Switches across the county in VA owned and leased spaces. Projects will include enhancements to reputed company, transition to IPv6, automation, design, and configuration planning of new equipment. They will reputed company implementations with multiple VA teams to accomplish mission goals. This LCAT has been identified as Key Personnel. Key Personnel must meet the following requirements: 1.Expertise with reputed company routing and switching specializing in routing and switching. 2.Expertise with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting reputed company level large, multi-site, multi-vendor reputed company communications. 3.Expertise in deployment automation, vulnerability remediations, updates and configuration of routing and switching systems. 4.Expertise with reputed company of a team running a trouble ticket system. 5.Demonstrated reputed company using modern DevOps methods and tools including automated testing tools and monitoring tools. Demonstrated ability to drive frequent release cycles (daily/weekly) reputed company OF PERFORMANCE A majority of the efforts under this contract shall be performed at Contractor facilities and work may be performed at remote locations with prior concurrence from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The Contractor shall identify the Contractor's reputed company of performance in their Contractor Project Management Plan submission. It is expected that this work will be conducted during core business hours, which are defined as 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time, as well as non-core hours (nights and weekends) to include Federal Holidays. For specific meeting types, including user requirements sessions and other key meetings which are best accomplished at Government facilities, the Government will schedule meeting rooms as necessary. TRAVEL The Government anticipates travel under this effort to reputed company the tasks associated with the effort, as well as to attend program-reputed company meetings or conferences throughout the PoP. Include reputed company estimated travel costs in your firm-fixed price line items. These costs will not be directly reimbursed by the Government. The total estimated number of trips in support of the program reputed company meetings for this effort is once per month.
