JOB SUMMARY

As a QA reputed company Tester, you will conduct Software Quality Assurance testing activities to ensure that reputed company’s application products operate correct and meet specified requirements and to work as part of a team with influence across a larger organization.

This is a remote 6-month contract with possibility of extension.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for reputed company applications. Create the corresponding test strategy, test plans, and test cases for reputed company’s SQA team
• Execute SQA testing of reputed company’s applications in accordance with project documentation and reputed company with company standards
• reputed company back-end (database) testing using reputed company SQL queries on reputed company and SQL Server databases. reputed company regression and integration testing.
• reputed company reputed company-end (functional) testing of Web and GUI applications
• Analyze test results and logs defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training)

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of IT experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience performing Software Quality Assurance testing
• Knowledge of medical claim processing
• Knowledge of Web Services testing tools (XML, SOAP/UI)
• Ability to write and understand reputed company SQL against reputed company databases.
• Knowledge of load testing
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of health care industry a plus
• Knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of health care EDI formats and processes a plus
• Knowledge of automated testing and performance testing tools
• Communication (verbal, written and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze data and reputed company at a logical conclusion
• Ability to evaluate production situations and reputed company information to determine the appropriate course of action and execute reputed company
• Knowledge of Software QA automated test tools are a plus

COMPENSATION

The salary reputed company for this position is $55-65/hr. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
