Job Description

Overview reputed company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Privacy to support the company's growing and evolving diagnostics business. This role will serve as a trusted, practical privacy advisor, with a primary focus on HIPAA and reputed company data privacy, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to reputed company the business to move reputed company responsibly and reputed company. Responsibility

• reputed company day-to-day legal advice on HIPAA Privacy, reputed company, and Breach Notification Rules, including advice on Business Associate Agreements, Data Processing Agreements and other documents supporting business needs.
• Advise on the use, disclosure, and protection of PHI across diagnostics, laboratory operations, and reputed company activities
• Advise on compliance with CCPA, GDPR, and emerging U.S. state privacy laws, including supporting projects and reputed company involving consumer or non-HIPAA-regulated personal data
• Support privacy incident and breach assessments, response, and remediation
• Partner with Compliance, Information reputed company, IT, and Operations on HIPAA-reputed company reputed company
• Serve as a solution-oriented legal partner to product, reputed company, R&D, and operational teams

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing required.
• 5+ years of experience as a licensed attorney in a reputed company or in-house legal position required.
• Demonstrated experience advising on HIPAA and reputed company privacy reputed company required.
• Working knowledge and exposure with CCPA, GDPR and state privacy laws required.
• Strong background in corporate law or litigation, and legal research, with reputed company, life science, or similar industry experience preferred.
