Sr. Cytogenetics Analyst - US Remote

Job Description reputed company is seeking a Senior Cytogenetics Technologist to join reputed company Remotely. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, reputed company - 4:30pm ET Job Responsibilities:

• reputed company analysis of chromosomes, which includes imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens.
• Review test requisitions to gather pertinent details for analysis.
• Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature.
• Distinguish between normal and reputed company test results.
• Demonstrate the ability to reputed company technical reputed company regarding testing and problem solving.
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in Oncology Cytogenetics
• 1 year or more of experience in cytogenetic analysis
• Certified by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG)
• ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)

Additional Job Standards

• Experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads reputed company computerized images
• In lieu of education requirements listed above, non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits that meet CLIA standards may meet education requirements
• Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Experience working in a high volume laboratory environment
