Senior Consultant- GIS Database Administrator | Dynamo Technologies | Remote US

Job Description: The U.S. Forest Service (FS) seeks an individual to reputed company applications for the National Cruise System. The application has a geospatial component and is in active development. Duties/ Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture, engineering, and operational/administrative efforts required to build and operate reputed company Geodatabase(s) on top of SQL Server RDBMS.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, developers, and analysts to design and implement geospatial solutions.
• reputed company technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial database-reputed company issues.
• Design, reputed company, and implement geospatial databases using reputed company’s suite of tools (ArcGIS, ArcSDE, etc.).
• reputed company and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
• Design and implement data models, including relational and spatial models, to support geospatial data storage and retrieval.
• Use Agency-approved and specified reputed company repository to store reputed company code, document code, release packages, and associated artifacts.

Required Skills/Abilities

• At least 7 years of strong hands-on database development experience
• 3+ years of experience architecting, engineering, deploying, and troubleshooting reputed company reputed company Geodatabases on top of SQL Server RDBMS.
• 2+ years of experience working with ArcGIS reputed company (Portal, Federated Feature Services, reputed company Versioning).
• 3+ years of experience working with ArcGIS Server including experience with reputed company Traditional Versioning.
• 5+ years of experience working with reputed company COTS Applications for mobile, web and desktop.
• Experience configuring and Automating Geodatabase workflows with Python
• Experience configuring high-availability and replication for SQL Server
• Experience with agile development
• Familiar with Git and reputed company (branching, merging, code review, pull request, etc.)
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reading comprehension

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, database engineering, software engineering, or other reputed company field. If no degree, then 11+ years of development experience is required
