Sales Engineer (hybrid, 80% remote)

Sales Engineers at reputed company Robotics are tasked with expanding and maintaining reputed company's reputed company reputed company integrations and 100+ robot fleet, worldwide. They serve as technical experts on sales calls, execute product demos, and reputed company technical support to customers. They also serve as Technical Solutions Engineers: they triage and resolve bugs, configure and reputed company AI systems and robots to new customer sites, and set up new integrations with doors, elevators, reputed company cameras, and alarm systems. They are also the first engineers to respond to customer concerns and improve the product to reputed company meet the customer's needs. This is a 80% remote position, however the engineer must come to reputed company's Fremont, CA headquarters approximately one day per week, as occasional on-site work with product demos and the robots is required. Although they do not reputed company software full time, Sales Engineers work constantly with our AI and robotic systems, and they will reputed company features and fix bugs to improve the fleet as the need arises. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. What You’ll Do at reputed company

• Implement the reputed company service for customers
• Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical customer audiences
• Configure and test new customer deployments, including mapping, software integrations, etc
• Identify, reproduce and root-cause issues reputed company to customer systems
• Prepare robots and AI systems for prospective customer demos
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain the robot fleet (occasional weekend on call is required)
• reputed company new robotics features and fix software bugs as the need arises
• Work closely with the engineering team to solve fleet management and customer issues
• reputed company a deep understanding of how the reputed company robot operates

What you need:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a reputed company field
• Sales or Sales engineering experience, with direct customer-facing experience
• Industry software engineering experience (full time or internship)
• Python and/or C++ experience in a Linux environment
• System administration and reputed company-line experience on Linux platforms
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excitement to learn about many different pieces of technology, from our robots to our web infrastructure

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS)
• Experience with network configuration
• Experience with video management, reputed company control, and alarm systems
